Boon Plant Bar

This place is the best! Liz and her team are so friendly and knowledgeable about the plants in the shop. She does a great job at finding cool and unique plants instead of the basic items you can find at big box stores. A good portion of my collection has come from this store and I’ve never had any issues with any of the plants. I’ve even had incredible discounts on some of the Sad Plant Shelf and the plants were totally thriving. Definitely check out this spot for your planty needs!

Boon is my favorite plant store in Boston! The owner Liz is so kind and patient when helping you find what you’re looking for. She adds an accessory to every plant you buy. I’ve taken my friends and family here and they’ve all had a great time. I know no better plant store that cares for their inventory and customers!

This shop feels like walking into another world! The atmosphere is immediately peaceful when you walk in. A beautiful shop dog is here to greet you, there are plants of all types, fantastic pots curated from local artists, and they also dabble in some terrific giftware- jewelry, trinkets, high quality soaps and body products! They also engage with the neighborhood and do collaborations with other businesses! I always go here when I need a gift for someone tough to shop for- Boon will definitely have something to check the box! Lastly- the staff is just fantastic- always offering assistance without hovering- kind enough to pot plants so that mess stays there and not in my house! Boon is truly an oasis and a gift to the neighborhood!

Visited yesterday (9/20/25) since the pictures looked great and I collect lots of plants. The store was absolutely beautiful inside with a wide variety of collections from the most rare to the most common plants. All were beautiful and in great condition. The woman working, who I presume is the owner, chatted with me for a while about the collection, my interests, and fostered a great environment for me to geek out about plants. Great service, great plants, great environment, 10/10 store. Definitely recommend you visit whether you are buying your first or your fortieth plant.
